| Inna Krasnovsky, CPDT does not remember a time when working with animals was not her life's goal. She started out as a dedicated volunteer at NYC and Long Island animal rescue groups. She has fostered dogs in need of permanent homes, promoted awareness of animals in need of homes and helped with adoption events.
In 1994 Inna started working as a Vet Tech at a busy veterinary practice and in 1999 landed a job in the behavior department of one of NYC major urban animal shelters. She spent 5 years with the shelter where her direct supervisors were some of the country's leading applied and certified animal behaviorists, from them she learned a great deal about animal behavior, training and treatment of behavior problems. The experience she gained at the shelter proved to be invaluable and ensured her success working with dogs as a private trainer.
Inna is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and certified by the
Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers. She is also a graduate of the New York ASPCA's behavior and training internship where she graduated at the top of her class. She is dedicated to continuing her education in the field of animal behavior and training. She has attended (and continues to attend) many seminars on a broad range of topics concerning dog behavior, training, and animal welfare. Inna also volunteers at the city Animal Care and Control shelter.
Inna shares her Brooklyn home with two rescued Greyhounds, Lance and Henry, and three rescued cats, 8-Ball, Stinki, and Max -who is clicker trained and loves to show off some very cute tricks! |

Melissa Chan, CPDT, is head of behavior at the Manhattan branch of New York City Animal Care and Control. Melissa was the top graduate of her class at the New York ASPCA's dog behavior and training internship. While she's had 5 years' professional experience, Melissa was born into a family of dog trainers, and actually started hobby dog training at the tender age of 7.
A member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and certified by the Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers, Melissa believes that responsible trainers continue to hone their skills, educate themselves, and stay open to new training techniques throughout their careers.
Melissa shares her home with her two rescued Lab mixes: Pushkin, a 5 year-old wonder dog in training, and Byron, a 9-year-old career couch potato. |
